2008년 10월 열리는 국제로봇전시회인 로보월드2008과 함께 제39회 국제로봇심포지움(ISR 2008, International Symposium on Robotics)이 국제로봇연맹(International Federation of Robotics), 전남대 로봇연구소(Robot Research Initiative), 포항지능로봇연구소(Pohang Institute of Intelligent Robotics), 제어로봇시스템학회(Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems)주관으로 2008년 10월 15일~10월 17일에 COEX에서 개최되어 국내외 로봇전문가들이 참가합니다.

이 ISR 2008 심포지움에 최근 세계로봇시장을 주도하며 급성장하고 있는 “전문서비스로봇” 분야의 세계적인 전문가들이 Plenary Speaker로 참가합니다. 구체적으로 “국방로봇”, “우주로봇”, “원자력로봇”, “수술로봇”을 들 수 있습니다. 이러한 흥미로운 Plenary Speaker들의 강연들을 Package로 묶어 여러분들께 제공하고자 합니다. 특히 우리나라에서도 이러한 전문서비스로봇을 차세대성장동력으로 전략산업으로 추진하고자 하는 이때 여러분들께 훌륭한 정보를 제공할 것 입니다.
